Morrissey, Herrman Selected to USA Hockey National Camps

Stephen Morrissey (1995) and Andrew Herrman (1997) were selected to the Southeast District Team that will compete at the USA Hockey National Player Development Camp!

Both goalies played minor hockey in the Reston Raiders’ organization for many years.  Morrissey also played Tier 1 hockey for the Washington Little Capitals and is now completing his freshman year at the Kent School in Connecticut where he was on the varsity team.  Morrissey was chosen for the Kent State Selects tourney each of the previous two years.  Herrman was selected for Team Maryland Tier 1 where he will play this coming season.

1996 birth year goalies, Dan Dolliver and Jake Mitchell were also chosen for the Kent State Selects this year.  Dolliver was selected for the National Camp last spring.  Both goalies have played for Team Maryland Tier 1.

These goalies join a long line of goalies trained and developed by The Goalie Academy over the years, such as:
1992 Bryan Jones (NAHL New Mexico)
1993 Jay Williams (USHL Waterloo)
1994 Nick Ellis (Pomfret School)
1995 Eric Vierkant (Culver Academy)
1996 Dan Dolliver (DC Capitals Tier 1)
1997 Andrew Herrman (Team Maryland)

Congratulations guys!  Keep up the great work!
