Dan Sullivan Named Hockey East Top Scholar-Athlete
WAKEFIELD, Mass. — The University of Maine placed 10 student-athletes on the 2011 Hockey East All-Academic Team released on Wednesday, June 15. Rookie Dan Sullivan (York, Pa.) shared the Hockey East Top-Scholar Athlete as he earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the 2010-2011 season.
Sullivan was named to the Hockey East Association Academic All-Star Team, honoring the top grade point averages by position. Dan and teammate Jeff Dimmen were the lone student-athletes in Hockey East to obtain 4.0 grade point averages last year.
