The Wally Cup is a 3v3, Cross-Ice hockey tournament. For 20 years, The Wally Cup has been a DMV area holiday tradition on December 26th each year. Teams consist of 6 skaters and 1 goalie, playing a round robin series of games followed by a single elimination playoff to determine which twam will skate The Wally Cup!

Old School Pond Hockey

Old School Pond Hockey is the spirit of The Wally Cup. Just like pick-up hockey on a frozen pond, kids make up their own teams of friends and come up with their own team names. No coaches or coaching is allowed. This tourney is for kids to enjoy playing fun, competitive hockey with their hockey friends.

Skate The Wally Cup

The Wally Cup for 2023 will field 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U Divisions at both Skate Quest in Reston, VA and Loudoun Ice Centre in Sterling, VA.

The tourney at Skate Quest is $385 per team and is limited to 6 teams per division. The Loudoun Ice Centre location is $325 per team and is limited to 4 teams per division.

The below schedule is subject to change as are the divisions. If more 10U or more 12U division teams register, then we may add more of those divisions.
